Our New President

I encountered President Duterte last year thrice, first the Go Negosyo Forum in Makati, series of talks regarding the migrant issues and during the campaign period in Pandacan. I am blessed because I had a chance to see him in person, to talked to him and I was mesmerized how his brain and logic works.

I hope also this administration will definitely deliver the service Filipinos deserve for especially the sector I am representing the OFWs. One of our major concerns and dilemmas are the government agencies that handle the committee. As a volunteer how i wish there advises and rules are being implemented. We have so many good regulations and projects for OFWs but its not properly implemented. Awareness is not enough.

I had countless unforgettable moments during my Japan Trip but having to wore the Kimono dress was one of it. Thank you to Machi-mama for sharing her expertise and articulately dressing me without any hesitation and for free.

The kimono is a Japanese traditional garment. The word "kimono", which actually means a "thing to wear" (ki "wear" and mono "thing"), has come to denote these full-length robes. The standard plural of the word kimono in English is kimonos, but the unmarked Japanese plural kimono is also sometimes used. Kimono is always used in important festival or formal moments, it is the representative of polite and a very formal clothing. Kimono are T-shaped, straight-lined robes worn so that the hem falls to the ankle, with attached collars and long, wide sleeves Kimono are wrapped around the body, always with the left side over the right (except when dressing the dead for burial) and secured by a sash called an obi which is tied at the back. Kenjie, the founding Chairman of PEBA. He is an OFW in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I admire him for being calm despite the adversities we face in Social Media. His untiring effort in reaching out for OFWs tru his blog, his dedication to his family and his faithfulness to his wife is behind compare. 

Hannah, the Secretary General of OFW Family Party-List. We became friends in unexpected ways, in time I am badly needed someone to talked to. I am one of the pioneer member of the OFW Family CLub in Taiwan way back 2004. We bonded well. Our friendship were tested by many tribulations and uncertainties but we remain loyal to each other.

Now a days, its a challenge to find a true individual who will stick to your side thru thick and thin but I am lucky enough I have them both on my side. Come what may I know they have my back. It is safe to say they will never tolerate me if they think my path and conviction is in jeopardize.
